All My Days
This personal project was shot from September 1 to December 17 2023, with one self-portrait taken daily on 4x5 inch large format black and white film. I only allowed myself one shot per day, accepting mistakes and unsuccessful moments as part of the process.
Focused more on process than image content, the body of work plays with the definition of a self portrait and challenges how much of the body must be seen for a portrait to be effective, as well as how intention impacts the classification of an image. It also served as an experiment in exhausting a space I use daily.
The entire collection of images was shown in the Josephine Gallery in Columbia, Mo.
